Grading Policy
Every product on Refurbiz is assigned a condition grade — A, B, or C — based on a structured cosmetic inspection. All grades are 100% functional. The grade only reflects how the product looks, not how it performs.
Grade A — Like New
Grade B — Good
Grade C — Fair

Core Grading Principle
Grade = Cosmetic Condition Only. Every graded product has passed full functional testing. A Grade C device works exactly the same as a Grade A device — it just shows more signs of prior use.
The Three Grades
Grade A
Like New
Closest to a brand-new device. Minimal to no visible cosmetic wear.
- No scratches visible to the naked eye
- Faint hairlines may appear under direct light only
- Screen pristine — no marks or pressure spots
- Body and frame in excellent shape
- No dents, chips, or discolouration
- All functional tests passed
Grade B
Good Condition
Light signs of prior use visible on closer inspection. Fully functional.
- Light scratches on body or screen visible up close
- Minor scuffs on frame or edges
- No cracks, deep scratches, or broken parts
- Cosmetic marks do not affect use
- Display clean with no pressure marks
- All functional tests passed
Grade C
Fair Condition
Visible cosmetic wear. Best value — works perfectly, looks used.
- Visible scratches or scuffs on body
- Noticeable marks on frame or back panel
- May have minor dents on corners or edges
- No cracks or structural damage
- Display fully functional — no dead pixels
- All functional tests passed

Grading Criteria — By Part
Each part of the device is assessed individually. The final grade is assigned based on the worst cosmetic finding across all parts.

Front display surface
Grade ANo visible marks. Faint hairlines only under direct bright light.
Grade BLight surface scratches visible on close inspection. No impact marks.
Grade CClearly visible scratches. No cracks or display damage.

Grade AClean, no marks. May have faint micro-scratches only under direct light.
Grade BMinor scratches or light scuffs visible. No chips or cracks.

Important: Cosmetic marks that are within the disclosed grade are not eligible for return. If you receive a product with cosmetic condition significantly worse than the listed grade, contact us within 14 days — that qualifies as "not as described" and is eligible for return or replacement.
